Based on this issue's title, the approach in ✨ Option to link citation title to either entity or URL when using a rendered entity in Views Needs review might be the solution. If, instead, this is more about linking to the DOI if present, this issue should be updated to focus on that scope. The code change in ✨ Option to link citation title to either entity or URL when using a rendered entity in Views Needs review may be a good model for that approach, too.
