Problem/Motivation

  • Following resolution of https://www.drupal.org/project/migrate_generator/issues/3367663 📌 Streamline workflow to export file entity content Fixed , files entities included when exporting another entity (node, media, whatever) do not generate a dedicated csv file anymore, as expected.
  • However related said files are not exported at all

Steps to reproduce

  • Export content of an entity that includes a file field

Proposed resolution

  • When exporting an entity refering a file, attached files can be downloaded into files subfolder and have paths like files/image1.jpg, files/image2.jpg in CSV where they are referenced.
  • "Download attachments" feature could be an option disabled by default but togglable with boolean in user interface and cli option
