We are using a Drupal 10 site with few custom content types and we want to hide certain fields of content type for Anonymus users. We are using the role paywall module with content type that is using the layout builder(version 10.1.1) to display the fields, however after applying the paywall configuration the hidden fields are still visible for the Anonymus users. When the layout builder is disabled the paywall module is working as expected.
- Install the role paywall module with a Drupal 10 compatible version.
- Use the layout builder for the Content type in the Manager display section of Content-type.
- Add the role paywall configuration to hide certain fields of content type.
Now the role paywall will not work for the selected content type in the paywall configuration.

Layout builder uses hook_entity_view_alter to add content to the page. As per the documentation, it forces itself to be the last hook called.
This is something that will require some further research as to how I can then modify the content it has added to the page.
Any idea whether this can be fixed soon? I'd like to use it for a current project.
