error on layout modification

i got that error when saving a modification on /node/88/layout

TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Drupal\paragraph_blocks\ParagraphBlocksEntityPresaveHelper::getDeltasOriginal() must be an instance of Drupal\paragraph_blocks\mixed, string given, called in /data-platforms/platforms/drupal9-dev/modules/contrib/paragraph_blocks/src/ParagraphBlocksEntityPresaveHelper.php on line 106 in Drupal\paragraph_blocks\ParagraphBlocksEntityPresaveHelper->getDeltasOriginal() (line 210 of modules/contrib/paragraph_blocks/src/ParagraphBlocksEntityPresaveHelper.php).

@matoeil have you tried using 3.1.8? This sounds like a php7 error. I've fixed some php7 compatibility issues in the 3.x branch and removed support for php7 from the 4.x branch.
