I would also like to step down from my position as the front-end framework manager due to taking on this new role. By stepping down, I want to emphasize that I am transitioning away from the technical leadership roles. I want to also ensure that the front-end framework manager team feel empowered to make decisions without me. Although I am no longer in that specific role, I will still be around and I'm more than willing to offer the team any relevant historical information and provide consultation whenever necessary.

Thanks, I think that makes a lot of sense. Updated patch to remove from frontend role. Also fail was random.

The transition was announced by Dries in https://www.drupal.org/about/core/blog/lauri-to-become-a-drupal-core-pro... → so we should consider that project lead signoff. Lauri also explained the change here. Therefore moving back to RTBC.

Based on the public announcement (which Dries drafted and authorized posting), I don't think we need an explicit signoff on this issue to commit it. Also, for the FEFM change, all we need for that is the individual's statement of intent as from @lauriii above. Dries also +1ed this in committer Slack. :)
Committed to 11.x, 10.1.x, 10.0.x, and 9.5.x. (I also had to cherry-pick the promotion of @bnjmnm and @quietone which should have been on both major versions.) Thanks!
