Initially, I am looking for any existing work on instructions or experience.

There is currently only documentation for 7.x version of the module, https://www.drupal.org/documentation/modules/domain → .
Since no official documentation exists for Drupal 8.x or 2.0.x, creating this issue as a starting point.
Documentation would focus on 2.0.x versions
