Make help text on Content/Comment/Media/Block type pages consistent

Media types /admin/structure/media This page provides a list of all media types on the site and allows you to manage the fields, form, and display settings for each.
Block types /admin/structure/block/block-content/types This page provides a list of all block types on the site and allows you to manage the fields, form, and display settings for each. Create blocks of each type on the Blocks page in the custom block library.

This patch will make the pages consistent. Try this for 11.x.

#3 should also be reviewed and if the proposed resolution should be updated.

#3 is exactly same as in proposed solution.

Therefore the additional text suggested here needs reworking to match the new naming. I'm also not sure that linking to the block layout page is the correct thing to do, should we link to the block content listing page instead?

Updated the text per changes in block naming.

Update to block_content route seems good.

The IS contains both an MR and a patch. I believe the MR is canonical. Hiding the patch file for clarity. Please ensure the IS contains only one change set in the future. 🙃 Thanks!

I feel like I've reviewed a duplicate of this issue recently. Posting the same feedback here as I did there, which is: More descriptions is not better. The less text there is in the UI, the easier it is to use. We should only add descriptions if the user really can't understand things without the additional text.

So, if we want to make it consistent, we should consider whether they should all consistently be "null" instead. We should also consider whether some of the entity types do actually need more description than others, or whether it's an arbitrary historical artifact that they are different.

The Needs Review Queue Bot → tested this issue. It no longer applies to Drupal core. Therefore, this issue status is now "Needs work".
