Views Data Export - create a logo

There is already an icon on the Drupal.org project page for this module. It is only 256x256 however and is not <10k. Could someone try to make something similar (canister with arrow coming out) that meets our requirements?

I personally like VDE_Logo_3.png from #5.

Can you please add some shading to it, so that it can look little bit same as original module.

Too many logos to produce previews of all of them, I'm afraid.

@urvashi_vora, I feel yours have too many small details and text labels to work.

I like all of @Antonina Pavlenko's logos, as they are similar enough to the current one.

I've made previews for two of them.

VDE_Logo_2.png looks good, and captures the essence of the original.

VDE_Logo_2.png is closer to the original, but still simplified.

I feel that adding gradients would be problematic, as they can be difficult to compress, and would make it difficult to achieve the desired file size.

Both logos are 512x512 PNG images, and have file sizes under 10K.

Modified views-data-export-1.png from #11.

My preference is #12 It is similar to the existing logo on Drupal.org and meets requirements.

I know there have been a lot of versions of this, but just looking at what's on the module currently:

There is separation between the layers, making it look like hard drive platters. The current suggestions all have the layers stacked closely, and to me look a little too much like oil barrels.

Would it be possible to separate the three layers on #12 a little, and I think it would be perfect?

I have a strong preference for Antonina's version 3:

However, and I hope no one minds me saying this, the arrow positioning is a little.. erm, well, anyway. Could we just move the arrow up toward the top? It's more like the original (which is actually an icon cribbed from a free icon library), and avoids the... placement issues.

Sorry for being picky. I really like VDE_Logo_6.png, but the angle of the arrow just looks a bit off to me. If you could rotate so the arrow is point upwards at a 45⁰ angle (pointing North-East), I think it will be perfect.

Not picky at all, here is a fixed version. I might have misunderstood #15 about the arrow positioning up toward the top, sorry

Here's a preview of the latest version.

I think this version is very close, but there are two minor issues.

1. The top disc is a little paler than in earlier versions, and I fear it doesn't have enough contrast with the background. Could you go back to the shades from version 3, I think there should be sufficient contrast.
2. There is quite a lot of white space around the logo. Could it be scaled up about 30% without hitting the file size limit?

Other than those, I think it looks great.

I have confirmed the image is 512x512 pixels, is a PNG, and has a file size under 10K.

It fills the space nicely, and has good contrast on a light or dark background.

This gets a +1 from me.

I really like the latest version as well. The contrast is good, with confirmed dimensions.
