This seems like an edge case feature and should be added via custom code or a dedicated contribute module.
I have a number of webforms defined but a subset is used with the webform field in a node (webform_node support). The current field allows any webform to be chosen when editing the node.
I have not figured out how to make an entity reference view for this field. I tried using the Webform type when creating a View without success. I also tried adding Views: Configuration Entities → but those views are not recognized either.
Add a Category field to the webform field that allows a selection of any existing webform type or Any.
Add the Category drop down control to the webform field.
Closed: won't fix
