This module doesn't have any tests that get run, because the helper module is missing.
I suggest you enable Drupal CI for the project to see what is breaking.

test_helpersis an optional dependency only for unit tests, and it should be installed by the composer via dev-dependencies automatically.So, I've changed some code parts to make the functionality and unit tests work well, please take a look.
