Hi, I'm experiencing this same issue out of the box on a new Drupal 10 DDEV site. The only thing I've installed is this module so far. I have created a separate Media type, called "Competition Photo", and am not using the Core-installed Image one since I don't want all these extra EXIF fields on the default Image media type. I don't think that should be an issue though as it appears to affect the Core Image media type too looking at the screenshots from @randoTm.
