Problem/Motivation

Media galleries are a great way to collect related media, but some collections need to be displayed as a rolling slider. Is there an existing integration (display widget) for displaying media galleries as sliders?

Proposed resolution

Pointers to any existing solutions using media galleries would be appreciated, otherwise, maybe there's room for a custom module for that purpose? I could potentially take that responsibility on.

    Hi!

    It is possible

    1. Create new view mode for galleries here /admin/structure/display-modes/view
    2. Go to /admin/structure/media-gallery/display/ and select new view mode
    3. Set another format to images (I'm using slick)
    4. Create new view and use filter criteria "gallery ID" (set your gallery id) and "show galleries as slick" format
    5. Profit
