merge with Word Link

This would be a great feature. My temporary and simpler solution is to add a [name] token with a patch, and use term names as token in the generated link: ✨ Add term name as token [name], used for example to search Needs review .

word_link has no Drupal 8+ support. Should list Glossify as D8+ alternative.

Feel free to implement a migration path. I'll close this for now otherwise.
