PWA 1.6 hangs on log in and logout (must resubmit the form or refresh page)

8.x-1.x is 2.x now. So I guess the issue also still exists there?

I just tested with 2.x-dev and it looks like the same problem exists.

Same problem here with Drupal 9.5.x and PWA 1.6. User/login and logout require a manual page reload after getting infinitely stuck.

Yes, same is happening after composer require 'drupal/pwa:^2.0@RC' and clearing caches.
