This would be a great feature.
It could be either as a third-party service, via a dropdown in the theme.
Or even better, also offered as a "Base on Bootswatch-theme" dropdown option, when creating a sub-theme, so that the files are downloaded and integrated into the sub-theme? See also Creating a Bootstrap subtheme with Bootswatch for Drupal 8 → .

I agree. They would first have to splice out the ckeditor content from the main bootstrap style.css file. This should have never been added as it complicates a subtheme loading from cdn. The addons appear to begin around line 10893 in Bootstrap 5.2.3
