Drupal 10 compatibility fixes [8.x-1.x]

You need to test your patch at D10 to see what happens. Click 'add test' and pick 'custom' and choose a Drupal 10 version.

It was decided that D10 would the 2.x branch so you would need to upgrade to that version

The 2.x branch requires scheduler 2.x but it is not yet recommended by the project maintainer.

Scheduler 2.x has a RC release, and I do recommend it (being the Scheduler maintainer). But we can't swap that offical tag from 1.x to 2.x on the Scheduler project page → until 2.0 is released. But 2.0.0.rc8 is very stable and you can use it without any concern.
