OK, so while converting this validator I'm hitting the same nightmare scenario Wim previously debugged, and fixed, in https://www.drupal.org/project/automatic_updates/issues/3312619#comment-... 📌 Ensure all validation results use translatable strings except when created from throwables Fixed .
I'll see what I can trace into here, but what a massive pain in the ass. Ted and I paired on this and we still don't quite know where the serialization issue is happening.
