Expose filters as links and show reset button with use ajax enabled filter not working.

Problem/Motivation

I editing the taxomony_term view with auto submit enabled and a has taxonomy filter exposed as links. I have enabled reset button. as i enable use ajax the all filter links behaves as reset button. no filtering happens. And if ajax is enabled why clicking on the links reloads the page.

Steps to reproduce

Tried on a fresh Drupal installation.

create a view of any content type as a block.
add a filter has taxonomy term and expose it with multiple selection allowed. choose dropdown in the setting
goto advance tab and user better exposed filters. In the setting select to use exposed filter as link. enable auto save, always show reset button. Hide submit button. save the view
Place the block though block layout.
try to select any filter the ajax is called but the page still reload which causes the results to vanish.

I have the same problem. I cannot use the reset button option.
If I have the reset button, then pressing a link causes a reload of the page and no selection works.

Tried replicating on latest 6.0.x but not able to.
