Verified the MR!3 and tested it on Drupal version 9.5.x and Media download alias 8.x-2.x. The patch works fine and I have added the before and after screenshots for reference.

This module provides to rename Media Entity Download links. is not even grammatically correct. I know it is taken from the project page, but add that single sentence is not sufficient.
Somebody who uses this project should be able to add a more "helpful" help text.
