I am working on this issue. Currently planning to bump the major version of this module from 1 to 2 while adding support for monolog 3.
The major version bump will also entail a removal of support for Drupal 8.
The drupal monolog module is building support for Monolog 3.
Though it's currently only in beta, it would be nice to have monolog_datadog also supporting the new version.
