If and when there is support for adding a CMDocument for a base field ✨ CMDocument: Add support for documenting base fields Fixed , this display would be a great place to show/link to that documentation.
As an architect / UXer I want to be able to see all instances of a field (both the form and the render) in one place so that I can survey all the uses for consistency.
When visiting the page for the field
example /admin/structure/ENTITYTYPE/fields/FIELDNAME
we display all instances of the form field on the left, and all instances of the rendered field on the right.
concerns:
Aspects related to rendering the field may be too problematic and too misleading due to the lack of css context, that it might not be worth surfacing.
