Date format in the Error message

Hi all, I have the following query:

I have content type "Careers Posting" and for the "Closing Date" field in that content type I am using the "date" field type.

When I enter invalid date and save the form I see the following error message:

"The Closing Date date is invalid. Please enter a date in the format 2023-01-04."

I would like to have the date format in that error message in the following format "Day-Month-Year".

I checked the date formats in /admin/config/regional/date-time and it seems that the error message is using the format with the name "HTML Date" and pattern of Year-Mont-Day as this is the only pattern I have in this format.

I assume this is a Drupal core date pattern as I don't see any options to Edit this format as I have on some of the others date patterns.

Drupal core: 9.4.3

Please see the attached screenshots.

This is 2 years old and reported on Drupal core: 9.4.3 which is no longer supported. The particular error message reported here is no longer in core. It was changed in Drupal 10.1. The solution here would be to update to a supported version of Drupal core.

I think this can be closed as outdated.
