We are seeing this on a 9.5.2 site with Drush version: 10.6.2

It's weird though because we have other sites with same versions and on same hosting platform that don't get this error.

In our case, I think the errors are triggered by Pantheon web hooks that run drush updb, cim and cr (and maybe when cron runs). I see them on the Pantheon dashboard. I never see the error in my local copy of the site.

    Hi.

I have been seeing this since updating to Drupal ^ 9.5 on Pantheon, PHP 8.1.
Did not have on Drupal 9.4.x.

Both recent reports mention Pantheon; can either of you raise this as a support request with them? I am still not sure there is anything to fix here in Drupal core.

  • Hey there!

Just wondering, are you using a site-local version of Drush? If so, you should try upgrading. If you are using Drush 8, upgrade to the latest Drush 8. Else if you are using Drush 9, 10 or 11, upgrade to the latest Drush 11. I hope this works.

According to pantheon, it is indeed an issue with older versions of drush being incompatible. Drupal 9.5 requires drush 11.
