debug_info variable doesn't check true or false but rather if empty.

Problem/Motivation

There is currently a check for the configuration variable 'debug_info'. But this checks if the variable is empty and not if it's true or false.

Steps to reproduce

Set the local variable to 0 and check if you still get logs.

Proposed resolution

Change the if statement to check for true or false.
