Error caused by select.html.twig: Unknown "spaceless" tag

Problem/Motivation

When trying to create a new content node by visiting /node/add/[content_type], Drupal crashes, logging the following message:

Twig\Error\SyntaxError: Unknown "spaceless" tag. in Twig\Parser->subparse() (line 19 of /home/[unix_user]/domains/[domain_name]/drupal/web/themes/contrib/bootstrap_barrio/templates/form/select.html.twig).

Steps to reproduce

Spin up a fresh install of Drupal 10.0.0, using the minimal installation configuration.
Install Bootstrap Barrio 5.5.6 and the SASS Bootstrap Start Kit Subtheme 5.0.6.
Use the shell script included with the SASS subtheme to create a custom subtheme.
Configure a simple content type with a title and body field.
Attempt to create a new content node of that content type. The message "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." will appear.
