Editor books are rendered wrong

Created on 20 November 2022, almost 3 years ago

Books that only have editors as roles are often rendered only with the year in front, for example with the CSL style American Psychological Association 7th edition:

(year). book title (editor1, editor2 & editor3, Eds.). publisher.

...when it is supposed to look like this:

editor1, editor2 & editor3 (Eds). (year). book title. publisher.

This happens also with many other CSL styles.

I know with CSL, but I couldn't find any possibility in the markup to solve the problem.

I tested APA styles for both the 6th an 7th edition today, with one and two editors and no other authors. I was never able to reproduce a situation where the editor was omitted and the date was the first entry. In each test, the editors displayed according to the expected APA format, as compared to the output from Zotero.

    Example:

Editor 1, & Editor 2 (Eds.). (2016) Jaghmīnī’s Mulakhkhaṣ: An Islamic Introduction to Ptolemaic Astronomy. Springer-Verlag.

Closing as outdated, but if this problem is still occurring for anyone, please provide specific steps to reproduce! Thanks!

I checked again and it seems to be fixed, great!
