Not sure I'm seeing this but sounds like a feature that will need tests.
After adding a facet for the content type of a node index I found that I was unable to save the edit form on the facet, attempting to do so by clicking the "save" button resulted in this JS error:
An invalid form control with name='facet_settings[empty_behavior_container][empty_behavior_text][format]' is not focusable.
Add a facet for the content type field on a node index.
Fix the error.
Fix the error.
It will be possible to save the facet edit form.

The change is currently missing an automated test that fails when run with the original code, and succeeds when the bug has been fixed.
Not all content is available!
It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
