as described in https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_print/issues/2762363 → the problem still exists. Maybe the solution has been removed at some point?
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a node in the original language and make it unpublished.
2. Create a translation for some other language and publish it.
3. Try to create the PDF while not being logged into the backend with https://some.ddev.site/en/print/pdf/node/202
The problem is that in
https://git.drupalcode.org/project/entity_print/-/blob/8.x-1.x/src/Contr...
not the current translation but the default one is checked against.

I think the checkAccess method should load the translation from context, see https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_print/issues/3040546#comment-15042391 🐛 EntityPrintController loads untranslated entity Needs review for instance too.
