I you use the "Multiple Email Addresses" module

It is possible that this module can create an account with an email address that is already in use by multiple_email
Provide a way to allow other modules alter the the results of doesUserExist()
Possibly add an alter hook? hook_commerce_guest_registration_user_exists_alter ?
This way multiple_email could look up if the email exists and change the results as needed.
