Problem/Motivation

The intent of this issue is to help the maintainer(s) coordinate community efforts in the creation of a stable release. Community involvement is only intended as a suggestion; it is up to maintainers to ultimately decide the creation of, and what goes into, a stable release.

Proposed resolution

Aiming for a stable release around March 2023 with top priority to improve compatibility with swiftmailer.

✨ Support all headers in LegacyEmailBuilder Fixed
✨ Allow override of LegacyEmailBuilder with configured policy Fixed
📌 Change project name in relation to Symfony trademark guidelines Fixed

It would be great to have some testing/review for ✨ Allow override of LegacyEmailBuilder with configured policy Fixed . I will wait 1-2 weeks hoping that someone can help, otherwise commit anyway.

Once that's in, I'll create an rc1 release.

#3309471: Encrypt stored remote Transport credentials → would be great for improved simplenews parity however it's not a stable block IMO.
