As part as the "reroll" of #202 I've found out that ui_patterns_layouts does not support modules that usually deal with layout content, like field_group.
This PR let other modules access the fields as they usually do then it copies back the altered content to the pattern's

The change is currently missing an automated test that fails when run with the original code, and succeeds when the bug has been fixed.
