I found a workaround/alternative by installing the
config_partial_exportmodule: it gives you thedrush cpex single.config.namecommand to export that one config.
Just like config:devel-import-one already exists in this module, we could add a config:devel-export-one command for exporting a single config. The pretty much deprecated Drupal Console project has a command like this, we could use that for inspiration.
