Access occurrences for views sorting using relationship o does not work.

Problem/Motivation

I want to sort a date_recur field in a view
Using the date_recur and relationship:
Date (field_cci_date_recur) Occurrences for Content Date

When I add it to the view sort, I get
The sort criterion Occurrences for Content Date: Date (field_cci_date_recur) uses a relationship that has been removed.

Date_recur only has:
Date: first occurrence start date (field_cci_date_recur_value)
