Hi,
The problem is that on the endpoint of your nodes (for example basic page bundle /jsonapi/node/page), the "node menu link" is not present.
Because in facts it is only a convenience of the node module to allow to edit a menu link from the node form.
There is no proper entity reference between the 2 entities.
You can find your menu links on /jsonapi/menu_link_content/menu_link_content and create a channel on that but you will have to configure filters to avoid importing all menu links.
Automatically closed - issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
