Menu items of untranslated content visible

This issue was most probably fixed by 🐛 Problems when some module uses node_view for index nodes Fixed . I have tested with version 2.x and this bug is not there, or maybe I am testing using incorrect steps.

I don't see how 🐛 Problems when some module uses node_view for index nodes Fixed could fix this issue. You can reproduce this by placing a menu block with links to entities that aren't translated in the current language. The issue you linked to adds the possibility to bypass language validation for a list of routes, but that won't help here: menu items can be shown on any route, and most of the time they are visible on every page of your website.
