Currently this module only supports Main Navigation and any custom menus. However, it does not apply on the Administration menu. Extending the features to the Administration menu would benefit site builders to restrict access to certain configurations that lakes proper permissins.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This is over two years old now and as explained it is not the intended functionality of this module to support the Administrator module. Another module may be best to solve this feature request. Closing this to clean up the issue queue - thank you for raising this feature request.
