Offering to maintain Choropleth

I am moving this offer back to the project issue, since euk cannot yet opt projects in the security advisory coverage.

Sorry, been consumed with other work. I am still looking into making it a D10 module. Though the progress is slow.

This sounds great @euk. I hope at some point that a Drupal 10 version can be released, it would fill a gap, and fulfill a demand in the Drupal community. Though, it looks like you're not listed under https://git.drupalcode.org/project/choropleth/-/project_members?

euk is not listed as a project member because he can't be added as a project member by the site moderators until he gets permission to opt into security coverage. The project itself is abandoned, so there are no longer a maintainer around to do it.

The plan outlined in comment #9 was to create a sandbox (i.e. a fork) of the project for upgrading to Drupal 10, and use this sandbox to go through the peer review to get permission to opt into security coverage.

euk, did create this sandbox: Views Choropleth → , but there is still no code inside its repo.

@ressa euk has not yet created an application to be able to opt projects into security advisory coverage. I am not sure an application opened using a fork of an existing project would be acceptable, though.

Whether a fork of an existing project would be accepted is of course up to the git administors to decide. IMHO, creating a Drupal 10 version of an abandoned Drupal 7 project is a huge undertaking, and should quality.

@gisle Sure, if the changes are not limited to a single line in a .info.yml file.

Anyway, my comment was for ressa, and it was just supposed to say We are far from getting euk as maintainer. That's all.
