Compatibility with Decoupled Menus

Created on 22 March 2022, almost 3 years ago

Problem/Motivation

For those wondering if this module could play along with the Decoupled Menus module, part of the Decoupled Menus Initiative , the short answer is yes. See below.

Proposed resolution

The proposed solution depends on the patch added on ticket #3271104: Allow other modules to alter URL objects and the patch below. We are basically implementing a hook_alter() provided by that module.

Is there any updates on this issue?

The current dev version doesn't seem to be compatible with Drupal 10, and this is an excellent feature that I would love to be able to use.

    Hello @ibustos,

Thank you for your patch. Seems fine, but please fix the merge conflicts first.

I can confirm this is not working on Drupal 10.3.9 the href link is not being translating, looks like the decoupled alter function is not taking effect anymore, maybe it has been removed since its on core? Migrated from Drupal 9
