Is there any updates on this issue?
The current dev version doesn't seem to be compatible with Drupal 10, and this is an excellent feature that I would love to be able to use.
For those wondering if this module could play along with the Decoupled Menus → module, part of the Decoupled Menus Initiative → , the short answer is yes. See below.
The proposed solution depends on the patch added on ticket
#3271104: Allow other modules to alter URL objects →
and the patch below. We are basically implementing a hook_alter() provided by that module.
