Highlight regions when dragging blocks (dashed region border)

Problem/Motivation

Currently, the regions are not indicated in the frontend, like they for example in layout builder with a dashed border.

Steps to reproduce

Drag a block in the frontend, the regions can't be seen. At least in Bartik for example.

Proposed resolution

Show a dashed border (and eventually region names) when dragging a block in the frontend.

Technically spoken:

  • JavaScript: Add an indicator class for all target regions (if not existing already from upstream!) to allow CSS styling
  • CSS: Add dashed border for that class


If possible, use Core logic and classes! This might exist for example in layout builder, blocks or wherever... ;)
