Hi @appleaday,
I'm marking this issue was postponed as it sounds like we need more information for this issue.
thanks!
For a temporary reason I cannot upgrade to 8.x-1.19 and I'm stuck at 8.x-1.8.
Anyway I could try both of them - the recent one on a fresher Drupal instance - and still I don't feel confident in configuring how some cookies are supposed not to be used as a consequence of users' choices.
In both versions I couldn't figure out if I can do without using the Disable JavaScripts section to have some cookie disabled: apparently I could set something there only in case the script I mean to disable is written in a separate file, so I don't have much of a chance, since in my case the modules Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics and in charge for dropping the related code into pages... is it correct?
As for the Cookie Handling part, then, in the latest version the description states clearly When using the opt-in or opt-out consent options, this module will delete cookies from your domain that are not allowed every few seconds when consent isn't given.
But in version 8.x-1.8 according to the description things seem to go just the opposite way, I read When using the opt-in or opt-out consent options, this module will delete cookies from your domain that are not on the whitelist every few seconds when consent isn't given and the related textarea is labelled just as Whitelisted cookies! Still apparently the behavior is the same as for the recent version (apparently it behaves as a blacklist, instead).
Please help me in getting rid of the task of complying the GDPR regulation of the case knowing for sure I did a good job! ;-)
Thanks in advance!
Andrea
