GA4 Support?

Any progress? 2 months left. After that, this module will not work without GA4 compatibility.

This module is very much tied to the the Universal Analytics API, so supporting GA4 would require a rewrite of the module and any modules that rely on its API ✨ Provide switch for gtag.js Closed: won't fix . I don't have funding or capacity to work on it, and there is potentially more momentum for consolidating the current Analytics and Tag Manager modules ( https://www.drupal.org/project/ga/issues/3248310#comment-14641107 🌱 Consider merging with Google Analytics Closed: outdated ).

I'm not sure of the current state of the Google Tag project → in being able to (1) support dynamic analytics properties and (2) work with a Content Security Policy, but from what I can tell it will be a successor to the current google_analytics module (which does support GA4, but doesn't have an API for dynamic properties).
