Pre-populated values for reference autocomplete fields should be in double quotes for validation to work.
An entity title could have commas and Drupal will then interpret that as multiple entity references. E.g., Quality, Customer Service (10). Drupal thinks that Quality is an entity but associated with no ID. It may also think there is Customer Service entity with ID 10.
