Unable to enable Upgrade_Status even though installed via composer

Created on 5 May 2021, about 3 years ago
Updated 20 September 2023, 9 months ago

Problem/Motivation

I went through all the steps provided for installation. It installed successfully with no errors. When I click to enable, I get an error that it is missing dependencies. I've tried multiple things to include dependencies including composer install with all dependencies and nothing seems to work. Can I install the dependencies independently maybe?

Steps to reproduce

clone repo of 8.9.14 website, composer install, steps to install upgrade_status, cache rebuild and open site to extend tab.

FWIW I ran into this on a project and it was because someone (a few years ago) had added a custom "autoload:classmap" script in composer.json. Don't know why it was working a week ago but isn't running now, but the script wasn't needed so I fixed it by removing the script.

Ok I think we can't really diagnose these cases programatically, so closing again as per #16.
