I want to restrict which years are displayed in the Year drop-down field when using the node created date.
Create a Node Granular Date Filter and use the 'created' date as the field name. Enter any year in the Year From field and apply the filter. View the configuration again and the Year From will have reverted to '2000'.
The Year To is configurable as expected.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This is still happening in 2.1.0. However, it does appear that the correct years are shown in the filter (I'm using exposed filter on a date field), even though the setting always shows 2000. I even had one suddenly start to ignore the end year, but resaving the settings fixed that.
