When using a "Range Slider" facet, you can use min/max values based on search results, but the step value can not be automatically determined in the same way. A similar option would be nice for the step value.
Creation a Range Slider facet on a price field for example, using min/max values based on search result, and letting the step value empty. The slider won't appear as the widget is looking for a step value in the configuration, and can not guess one if none is set.
Change the range slider widget form to allow the selection of the method (based on search result, fixed) like min/max configurations.

Thank you for this very useful patch! In addition to the step, it solved a problem with the based searched result max on my site.
I've made a MR to 3.0, with the path from #3 and a small modification: rounded the min and max when are float.
