Display and allow application of gift cards assigned to the customer during checkout

This sounds very similar to

Maybe we can summarize them and close the duplicates?

This issue is for gift cards that have been assigned to a user account. Making them selectable during checkout.

Yeah great idea, I very much like it. I think the panel should be disabled by default and settings and description should go into the panel settings! Happy to review MRs!

PS: @rhovland would you like to help as co-maintainer? I couldn't find a way to contact you, but you seem to be very active here and guess you're actively using commerce_giftcard?

I'm on the Drupal slack under the same username. We use this module regularly, albeit a heavily modified branch of it that I maintain myself. The number of patches was getting to hard to manage. If you're in need of a co-maintainer I'd be happy to help. I was already in planning to apply for it after I finished up work on another module.
