Just wanted to leave this one here to be documented. I haven't had the time to investigate this any further. With the Gin Toolbar enabled and the current stable Olivero contrib set as default theme, Olivero's site header always collapses and brings up some toggable desktop nav which I don't even know how to trigger manually at all. I think this toggable nav somehow reacts to Drupal's toolbar classes normally and somehow gets confused with them not being there anymore. Or something like that.
Added two screenshot for clarification. Also note the 3 or 4px margin at the top with Gin Toolbar enabled.
