Performance significantly slower with Tugboat?

Thank you for this valuable service.

I used to use simplytest.me a lot and then got busy so wasn't using it for many months. I tried using it recently a few times and it seems like installing a site with simplytest.me is significantly slower than it used to be (and maybe related, I keep getting errors when trying to use it).

Is this due the Tugboat infrastructure? Are there plans to make it faster? I searched the issue queue for "performance" and didn't see anything obvious.

One of the main reasons I was using simplytest.me in the past was that it was pretty fast to spin up a site for testing. At its current speed (and with the errors I've been having), it's unfortunately not very usable for me, so I'll need to switch back to doing local installs for now.

Would love to keep using simplytest.me though! Thanks!

    Is speed of this still seen as a blocker to your usage? Has it changed over time?

    If still an issue, can you set to Active, otherwise Closed.

    We have not received an update on this issue in a four week period so we’re going to close it. This lets us focus on the issues that are getting the most engagement.

    Apologies for the lack of followup here.

    I just tested a core patch with manual installation and separately with automatic (standard) installation. They both took around 2 minutes. It seemed like the automatic one maybe was a bit faster to launch but I didn't use a stopwatch ;)

    And the patch got installed as expected, so everything seems fine now.
