Newer versions of Drush don't show the progress bar

I came across this issue b/c of search for a seemingly related experience I have.

I'm trying to validate that removed user accounts from a source are removed from the destination when using --sync option. However, I do not see an progress bar or other output to indicate the migration is processing. I may have the wrong expectations. I'm also trying to use the --update option.

When looking into the associated MR, I think I found some of these changes (except the test changes) have already been applied in this commit from the work completed in ✨ migrate-import by tag prints duplicate messages Fixed .

Given the changes here are present in the code I'm using, not sure if this issue is related to my experience, probably not since I did see the progress output when I processed the initial migration.
