Support for Editorial workflow

The https://www.drupal.org/project/field_group → module allows fields to be moved over to the sidebar using the 'Manage form display' page while editing a content type. I'm not sure if that will work for your More Settings group, but if it doesn't perhaps it'll give some suggestions on the hooks required.

I can confirm that using field group module, adding a new "details sidebar" group, and adding the moderation state to that group works:
